Shipping policy
Shipping
The following terms & conditions apply if you require any postage for your hire.
Generally, the cut off for shipping is Monday, absolute latest Tuesday the week of your event. You may risk requesting shipment at a later point of the week --shipping tends to take one day if located in a metro area; however it is risky. Allow extra time and book further ahead if based in rural/regional locations. If booking in line with these guidelines and located in metro areas, Hire to Help may offer a credit note if the garment does not arrive in time. If a garment is booked outside of this window, Hire to Help is not responsible if the shipment does not arrive in time. In this case, you are still required to ship the dress back immediately once received. A credit note may be applied in extenuating circumstances, but generally, the cost is worn by the customer.
All shipping costs are to be paid by the person responsible for the hire. The total cost will generally be $30.
All garments will be express shipped and, when returning, must be returned using Australia Post Express Post. If Express Post is not used, you will be liable to incur a late fee for every 24 hour period the garment is late.
For weekend hires, you will be required to ship the garment on Monday morning and provide the tracking number by 12 PM to avoid the incursion of late fees. To determine late fees, the date and time you are required to provide the tracking number by will be considered the ‘specified return time’. Every 24 hours exceeding the specified date and time that a tracking number is required by, will result in a $20 late fee.
Hire to Help is not responsible for any delays caused by Australia Post.
Hire to Help is not responsible in the event that Australia Post incorrectly delivers the garment, or, the garment gets stolen. If the item is marked as ‘delivered’ by Australia post, Hire to Help will have been taken to have delivered the garment and the person responsible for the hire will be considered in possession of the garment and will be responsible for its return.
